Who We Are
Pacific Beach Design Works ("PB Designworks," "we," "us") is a custom print and framing studio based in Pacific Beach, San Diego, California. Our website is pbdesignworks.com.

What We Collect
When you place an order or contact us, we collect:
- Name and email address — to confirm your order and send shipping updates
- Shipping address — to fulfill and deliver your order
- Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number, CVV, or other sensitive payment details — those go directly to Stripe's servers, which are PCI-compliant.
- Order details — print size, paper type, frame selection, and any uploaded image files needed to produce your custom print
We do not collect this information unless you actively provide it by placing an order or sending us a message.
Why We Collect It
- To produce and ship your custom order
- To send you an order confirmation and shipping notification emails
- To respond to questions or support requests
- To comply with legal and tax obligations
We do not sell your personal information. Ever.
Third Parties We Share Data With
To run our business we share limited data with the following service providers. Each is contractually obligated to protect your information and use it only for the purpose stated:
- Stripe — payment processing. Stripe receives your payment details and billing address. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
- Shippo — shipping label generation and tracking. Shippo receives your name and shipping address to generate a carrier label. See Shippo's Privacy Policy.
- Resend — transactional email (order confirmations, shipping notifications). Resend receives your email address and name. See Resend's Privacy Policy.
We do not share your data with any advertisers, data brokers, or other third parties beyond the three listed above.
Cookies & Tracking
This site does not currently use analytics cookies, advertising pixels (including Meta Pixel), or third-party tracking scripts. The only cookies present are those set by Stripe during checkout, which are necessary for payment processing.
If we add analytics or advertising tools in the future, this section will be updated and you will be given the opportunity to opt out.
Data Retention
We retain order records (name, email, address, order details) for as long as necessary to fulfill the order and comply with our legal and tax obligations — typically seven years in line with standard business record-keeping requirements. If you'd like your data deleted sooner and no legal obligation requires us to keep it, just ask.
Your Rights (California Residents)
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), California residents have the right to:
- Know what personal information we have collected about you
- Request deletion of your personal information
- Opt out of the sale of your personal information (we don't sell it, but the right stands)
- Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights
